Sr. Auni Khandaker

Early Childhood Education Director

Sr. Auni Khandaker is the Education Director at Al-Mamoor School. She has dedicated the past 10 years to directing and supervising the 3K and Pre-K Program, ensuring that young learners receive a strong foundation for their educational journey. Before stepping into this leadership role, she spent over seven years as a devoted Pre-K teacher, fostering a love for learning in her students. Her journey as both an educator and a mentor has been deeply fulfilling, reflecting her passion, dedication, and commitment to Early Childhood Education.

Throughout her career, Sr. Auni has worked with children from diverse backgrounds and developmental levels. Her experience extends to working with autistic and gifted/talented children, as well as adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities. This has given her valuable insight into addressing a wide range of learning needs and challenges.

Sr. Auni believes that true education begins when educators recognize and appreciate the diverse learning styles, temperaments, and strengths of each child. She emphasizes that growth happens when instruction is thoughtfully adapted to meet students’ unique needs. She strongly values the idea that, when given the right opportunities, every individual has the potential to learn and thrive.
