Academics

A education rooted in faith and knowledge.

At Al-Mamoor School, students receive a well-rounded education rooted in academic excellence, Islamic values, and personal growth. From early childhood through high school, our programs are designed to help students build strong foundations, develop confidence, and prepare for success in college, career, and life.

Early Childhood

3-K and Pre-K

Our 3-K and Pre-K programs provide young learners with a nurturing, structured, and engaging early childhood experience. These city-funded programs are designed to support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Students learn through age-appropriate instruction, guided play, classroom routines, early literacy and numeracy activities, and positive social interaction.

Grades 1–5

Elementary School

In elementary school, students build the academic and character foundations that will support them throughout their education. Our program combines strong instruction in core subjects with Islamic and Qur’anic studies, helping students grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially. Students develop skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.

Grades 6–8

Middle School

Middle school is an important bridge between elementary school and high school. Students are introduced to more advanced academic expectations while continuing to refine their study skills, critical thinking, writing, organization, and personal responsibility. Students begin exploring their interests, strengthening their identity, and preparing for the increased independence expected in high school.

Grades 9–12

High School

Our high school program is designed as a college-preparatory pathway. Students are challenged through advanced coursework, electives, academic planning, and college-readiness programming. Al-Mamoor offers in-house AP courses, supervised APEX AP courses and electives, SAT preparation opportunities, and college-readiness seminars.

Islamic Studies and Qur’an

Islamic Studies is central to the Al-Mamoor experience.

Students receive instruction in Qur’an, Arabic, hadith, Qur’anic sciences, Islamic knowledge, and character development. In addition to general Qur’an memorization, Al-Mamoor offers a specialized Hifz program for students pursuing deeper memorization of the Qur’an.
